1. Write on the trending topics.
You should write on the topics which are in trends. Many bloggers are wasting there time in such things which are not in trends and feel negative when they see that the site traffic is low. You can know the trends by some best sources like Google Trends, Yahoo Trending topics and more. According to me you should take help of Google trends and you can check the trends according to your country.
2. Choose a title according to trends topic keyword
You should always choose a title of the post keeping in mind that the keyword you are focusing should come in the topic at least once in your post title. Like your topic in trend is “Apple iPhone 5 launched in London”, so according to this your keyword should be ‘Apple iPhone launch’. So your title of the post must contain this keyword.
3. Write quality post content
You should be care full while writing that you should not repeat the same thing again and again. You should not use a same word it the word is repeated use its synonyms. You should write quality content which have use full according to the topic. For the search engine optimization you should have the keyword repeated in the content 4 to 5 times in a post of 300+ words. And also bold the keywords where they are and make some italic as per the words.
4. Use SEO plugin correctly
You can install the SEO plugin for the optimization of your post. You can use the All in One SEO Pack, WordPress SEO, WordPress SEO by Yoast and more. But the main question is how to use it. In the title you must write the same title and in the description you should write at least 160 and it must contain your keyword once or twice. The main question is about the keywords many write 10-12 keywords in their SEO plugin but it is not good you should write only 4-5 keywords.
5. Inter ink your posts
You should interlink you post means you should do linking in your post of other post of your site. This will help you for the SEO.
